Choir and Music Ministry – Windermere enjoys a wonderful choir at its’ 10:00 am Service, and our beautiful organ plays every single Lord’s Day along with special instrumental music at various services throughout the year. Invitations to the choir are open to any who want to share their gift of song. Choir meets Wednesday nights at 7:00 pm.

Meals on Wheels -Meals on Wheels is one of the hands-on ministries that our members and partners organize and engage in on a regular basis. Feeding the hungry is one of the clearest ways that Christ calls us.

Family Promise– a ministry to provide temporary housing for families who are willing to meet the programs criteria and are willing to set goals to solve their housing needs. Windermere has been one of the churches who have supported this mission with people and gifts since it was started in 1996. Walt Griffith has been the leader and director for organizing the dinners and over-night stays that Windermere provides. Since the beginning, over 75 percent of the families who have entered the program have graduated into permanent housing.

Presbyterian Women’s Circle – Women’s Circle meets on the Second Tuesday at 10:30 am. The Women enjoy programming and food together along with supporting several local ministries.

Presbyterian Men – Men’s group meet on the third Sunday most months at 6pm for good food and fellowship.

Prayer Concerns – Email prayer concerns for members, family, and friends can be sent to Sue Stott, prayers4windermere@gmail.com to be sent to members on the prayer email list.

Hands 4 Christ- Quilting for Coastal Horizons Youth Shelter – This group meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month at 1:00 pm in the Laura Coley room. Come join us! You do not need to know how to sew or quilt!

Bag Ladies – This wonderful group of ladies has found a wonderful use for plastic grocery bags. They turn them into multi-purpose mats that are particularly helpful and given to those who are living their lives on the streets of Wilmington and surrounding areas. Bag Ladies meet each on Tuesday at 1:00 pm.

Mere Clowns– Mere Clowns is a clown ministry that takes the love of Jesus into nursing homes, rehab facilities and hospitals. They are always looking for more people to bring the love of Christ through clowning.

Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard Please bring your canned goods and non-perishable items and place in the basket in the narthex on Sunday mornings.

Samaritan’s Purse Shoebox Ministry – Every Christmas season, and the months leading up to it, Windermere is excited to work with Samaritan’s Purse to fill shoe boxes with gifts and supplies for children and send them around the world with the intent of introducing many to the love of Jesus Christ. Outreach Foundation – Through the outreach foundation Windermere supports several different missionaries in different parts of the world.
